A Dennis Village landmark sited at the entrance of Corporation Beach, 185 Corporation Road began its life as a converted 19th century barn. In 1924 it was moved to this spot from Scargo Lake. Over the decades it has enjoyed a number of aesthetically engaging additions including one in 1972 designed by Cape architect Plummer Mills and another by Legare Cuyler in 2001. This is a home built for artists, gardeners, and lovers of classic Cape Cod with several libraries, a fantastical children's playroom, and a music room fit for the maestra for whom it was built. Outside enjoy 0.8 acres of green privacy and neatly organized raised organic beds, including an established asparagus bed. Beyond the home to one side is Corporation Beach and to the other side is the private Bay Heights Assn Beach.
